Rear suspension problems
Problem:
If you can hear a knocking noise coming from the rear suspension, this is usually caused by a failing track control arm. This will be most noticeable when driving over speed bumps, or rough surfaces.
Solution:
Fitting a replacement track control arm will fix the issue.

Front suspension problems
Problem:
When you apply the foot brake, do you hear a thudding noise coming from the front suspension and/or does the vehicle pull to one side instead of staying in a straight line? These are symptoms of the front suspension ball joints failing.
Solution:
Replacing the front suspension ball joints will rectify the problem. We can help you to find replacement ball joints, at very low prices.

Air conditioning failure
Problem:
The central air conditioning panels are known for failing on the 3-Series Compact. If you cannot operate the air conditioning, due to not being able to alter any of the settings, you will need new panels. They will not light up either, if they are failing.
Solution:
As mentioned above, you will need to replace the air conditioning panels to sort the problem.

Problem:
If you are having problems with the window not going up or down as smoothly as it should, you most likely have a problem with the window regulator. Usually the regulator can be fixed.
Solution:

Airbag warning light
Problem:
Has the airbag warning light appeared on the dashboard? If so, the most likely cause of this warning light is a damaged airbag occupancy pad on one of the front seats. These pads are known for failing.
Solution:
You will need to identify which one is causing the warning light and fit a replacement one, in order to fix the problem.
