Blown turbo seal
Problem:
The turbo seal is known for blowing on the 3-Series. If the turbocharger seal blows, you will have some black smoke coming from the exhaust, as the oil drips onto the exhaust. You will also hear a whistling noise coming from the top of the engine and a lack of power when accelerating. This is most common on diesel engine versions.
Solution:
Fitting a replacement turbo seal will sort the problem.

Window wiper problems
Problem:
Have you noticed that the window wipers are not going back into the correct position after use? If so, this is usually caused by a fault with the window wiper relay.
Solution:
Replacing the window wiper relay will fix the problem. The video below shows where this relay is located:
