BMW 6 Series Coupe Common Problems and Solutions
Water leaking into boot
Problem:
If you have noticed that the carpets in the boot are damp, you will need to sort this asap. The boot seals are known for failing, which means that water leaks into the boot. The TV, amp and other electrical parts are in the boot, which will be expensive to repair/replace, if they get damaged.
Solution:
You will need to make sure that you check the electrical parts, so as to ensure that if they have been damaged by the water, that you replace the boot seal to stop the leak.

Headlight condensation
Problem:
Have you noticed that the headlights on your 6-Series are full of condensation? This is a common problem on this car and if not treated can damage the wiring, meaning that a new headlight unit is needed, which can be extremely expensive.
Solution:
To save yourself plenty of money, there is a simple solution to this problem. You can drill a small hole at the bottom of each headlight, so as to allow any water to flow out and this will help to prevent a condensation build up in the future.
