Headlights steamed up
Problem:
Have you noticed that the headlights are steamed up on your M Coupe? If so, this is caused by badly fitted headlights, which allows condensation to build up inside the lens.
Solution:
There are two options you can try here: You could choose the easy route and drill a small hole at the bottom of each lens to allow water to escape and prevent future condensation. If you select this option, you will need to dry the lens with a heater fan. The other option is to remove the headlight and re-fit it properly. Watch the video below to see how to do this.

Window regulator failure
Problem:
The window regulator often fails on the M Coupe. If you've recently noticed that the windows are not moving up or down as smoothly as before, this indicates a failing window regulator. You might also hear a squeaking noise when trying to operate the windows.
Solution:

Stick gear shifter
Problem:
Have you noticed that the gear shifter on your M Coupe is sticky? This is most noticeable when shifting the gear from neutral to the left or right. If it is functioning properly, it should spring straight back into place, but it has been known to stick due to an issue with a pin in the transmission that lacks lubrication.
Solution:
This pin requires lubrication to resolve this issue.

Problem:
Are you experiencing the alarm going off by itself, without anything triggering it? If so, the micro switches on the door or bonnet are known to fail.
Solution:
You will need to correctly identify which micro switch is causing the problem and fit a replacement, to stop the alarm from going off by itself.
