Chrysler Voyager Common Problems and Solutions
Hissing noise
Problem:
Are you hearing a hissing noise coming from the passenger footwell as you apply the brakes? If so, it indicates that the brake servo is failing, however this isn't a particularly dangerous problem.
Solution:
You can either live with the hissing noise, or you will need to replace the brake servo to stop the noise.

Shock absorber failure
Problem:
The shock absorbers are known to fail on the Voyager. A good way to inspect if your shock absorbers are failing is to check above the wheels underneath the wheel arches and inspect the springs for signs of moisture. If they are covered with moisture, this is a good indication that the shock absorbers are leaking.
Solution:
You will need to replace the shock absorbers to rectify the situation. We can help you find replacement shock absorbers at a very low price.

Electric sliding door failure
Problem:
The latch inside the electric sliding door is prone to failure. If you are having problems with the sliding door not opening/closing electronically, but only opening manually this would be the most likely cause. There has also been known issues with the motor failing.
Solution:
The first thing to try is replacing the latch to see if this fixes the problem. If it does fix the issue, then all is well, otherwise it will probably be due to a faulty motor which you will need to replace.

Problem:
If you have noticed that the airbag warning light has appeared on the dashboard, this is most likely caused by a fault with the clock spring in the steering.
Solution:
You will need to replace the clock spring to sort this problem. Replacing this part should lead to the airbag warning light disappearing from the dashboard. Watch the video below to see how to replace the clock spring:
