Rear brakes binding
Problem:
If you notice the rear brakes binding and there is a squealing noise, the calipers are most likely failing and the brake pads disintegrating due to condensation.
Solution:
You will have to fit new brake pads and re-compress the calipers to sort this problem. Watch the video below to see how this is done:

Knocking noise
Problem:
If you have noticed a knocking noise when you are driving over bumps and rough roads, you have a problem with the front wishbones.
Solution:
You will need to replace the front wishbones to fix this problem.

Oil cooler pipes rusting
Problem:
The oil cooler pipes are known to rust on the Coupe and if they end up corroding badly, they will need to be replaced.
Solution:
Make sure that you change the oil cooler pipes if you see them rusting. They are located underneath the radiator and are two pipes that run parallel together. If not changed you could lose a lot of oil quickly, which would result in severe damage to the engine.

Blue smoke coming from exhaust
Problem:
As these cars are fitted with turbos, this is a common part to fail on the Coupe. If you have noticed that there is blue smoke coming from the exhaust, your turbo is starting to fail.
Solution:
You will have to replace the turbo to resolve this issue.

Exhaust manifold crack
Problem:
It is common on these vehicles for the exhaust manifold to crack. If this has happened, the car will be sounding louder than usual.
Solution:
Open the bonnet and have a look at where the exhaust system connects to the engine, this is the exhaust manifold. If you see a crack, you will need to replace the exhaust manifold to fix this problem.

Corroded chrome filler cap
Problem:
The filler cap on the Fiat Coupe is known to corrode and they can be very difficult to get hold of.
Solution:
