Air conditioning failure
Problem:
If you are noticing that the air conditioning is not blowing out ice cold air on the coldest settings, then it most likely needs re-gassed. If this is not the issue, then it will mean that the compressor is faulty.
Solution:
As mentioned above, you will most likely need to re-gas the air conditioning system to resolve this issue. You can do this yourself. Watch the video below for an idea how to do this. If you need a new compressor, we can help you find one.

Central locking problem
Problem:
The actuators are prone to failing on this car. If you are having issues with one of the doors not locking when you use the fob to lock them, then the actuator on the door will be faulty.
Solution:
You will need to replace the actuator on that door to sort the problem.

Starting problems
Problem:
The Santa Fe can have problems with starting in cold conditions, or when the engine is cold. This issue can be caused by one of two sensors failing: The temperature sensor or the coolant sensor.
Solution:
You will need to run a diagnostic check to correctly identify which sensor is faulty. Once you have identified if it is the coolant or temperature sensor causing the problem, you will need to fit a replacement one to resolve the issue.

Power steering problems
Problem:
There are known problems with the power steering pump failing on this vehicle. When you turn the steering to full lock and hear a loud, high pitched noise and the steering wheel vibrates, this is a clear indication of a faulty power steering pump.
Solution:
You will need to fit a replacement power steering pump to fix this problem. We can help you find one at a very low price.
