Land Rover Range Rover Common Problems and Solutions
Erratic windscreen wipers
Problem:
If you are finding that your windscreen wipers are working very erratically, then this is usually caused by a fault with the wiper mechanism. This fault can also lead to the wipers not working at all, a noisy operation or the wipers simply only working on certain settings.
Solution:
If you treat this problem early enough it could just mean a slight adjustment to the wiper mechanism, but if left for too long you will need to replace the wiper mechanism. You could also damage the wiper motor if you leave it too long.
