Excessive wind noise from sunroof
Problem:
Can you hear an excessive amount of wind noise from the sunroof whilst driving? If so, this is due to a design fault by Lexus. The wind noise can be as loud as it would be, if you had a window open and it gets even louder at higher speeds.
Solution:
You can tighten the sunroof bolts, which seems to stop the excessive wind noise.

Rear brake caliper problem
Problem:
The rear brake calipers are known for sticking on the GS300. When the brakes are cold it is recommended that you check the condition of the rear brake discs, to see if they are pitted, or if there are any gouges in them. If there are any of these marks, they will have been caused by the caliper issue.
Solution:
You will need to replace the rear brake calipers, in order to resolve the issue. If the rear brake discs are damaged, these will also need to be replaced. This issue may be covered under warranty, but if not, you are responsible for any repair costs.
