Water leak into boot
Problem:
If you find that the boot carpets are wet, the boot hatch seals may have failed, allowing water to enter the boot. Water can also penetrate the compartment underneath the carpet, causing corrosion or damage to other parts. See the above problem.
Solution:
Replacing the boot hatch seals will resolve the issue. You will also need to dry the carpets to prevent dampness from developing. Inspect the compartment beneath the carpets for any corrosion that will require treatment, and replace any other damaged parts.

Rear air suspension failure
Problem:
If you have been experiencing issues with the rear air suspension on your Viano, you're not alone. If the rear air suspension isn't functioning properly, you'll notice the vehicle rides very bouncily. Water can enter the rear boot compartment below the jack and damage the control unit, causing problems with the suspension.
Solution:
You will need to fit a replacement control unit to fix the problem. Also, inspect the compartment to discover how the water entered. Check out the water leak issue below.
