Head gasket torque

Problem:

Have you noticed that the water reservoir tank which connects to the radiator seems to be under a lot of pressure? This can be seen from tear marks on the tank above the water line or other marks which suggest this problem. This is caused by the wrong torque on the head gasket stretch bolts.

You will need to re-torque the head gasket stretch bolts to sort the problem.

Heater controls failure

Problem:

Has one of the switches snapped? or one of the dials come off on the heater controls? The switches are known to become tight and then snap. The dials are known for losing directional control. The dial can also come off due to a faulty cable.
