Toyota Corolla Verso Common Problems and Solutions
Lack of power
Problem:
A common problem with many vehicles nowadays is the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve becoming blocked. This is caused by a build-up of black carbon soot, which restricts airflow and leads to a loss of power and poor performance. The Toyota Corolla Verso also experiences this issue. If you are dealing with this problem, you need to unblock the EGR valve.
Solution:
You will need to remove the EGR valve and clear out the black carbon soot. You can do this with a toothbrush and a screwdriver, and also by spraying some carb cleaner on it. Once you have cleaned the EGR valve, you can re-fit it, and this should fix your problem. You can watch the video below to see how this is done.
