The 2016 Toyota Tacoma is set to make its debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. This auto show will be held at the COBO centre in Detroit from 12th January to 25 January 2015. Toyota have released a teaser image of the rear end of the vehicle which includes the Tacoma name splashed across the rear tailgate, much like its larger brother, the latest edition of the Toyota Tundra. You can see this vehicle in a steel blue colour behind a sea of mud. We are expecting big things from the third generation Tacoma in the compact pick-up class. The Tacoma has been in production since 1995 and the current second generation version has been in production since 2004. Time for the new third generation Tacoma to be released, well not quite yet, but we are hoping it will be sometime towards the end of next year. At the upcoming Detroit auto show, we are also expecting to see the likes of the latest model of the Ford GT, the Toyota FCV concept and the 2016 Nissan Titan. There will also be the new Lexus F Model along with many more vehicles. Do you think the 2016 Toyota Tacoma will be a serious competitor in the compact pick-up class?
