Honda Logo Overview
The Honda Logo is classed as a supermini car which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Honda. This vehicle was in production from 1996 to 2001 but was only sold in the UK from 2000 to 2001. This car was introduced as a replacement for the Honda City and shared its platform with the Honda Capa. These cars where slightly smaller than the popular Honda Civic and focused on economy and practicality. They are very well equipped, cheap to buy but never really took off in the UK. The design is a bit dated, which contributed to poor sales and it is not as good or much fun to drive as some leading rivals. They are reliable, but lack comfort, safety features and bad handling. Honda Logo History
The Honda Logo was first introduced as a replacement for the Honda City and was at a time when Honda were trying to recuperate from Japan's 'lost decade'. In order to increase fuel economy they made available a CVT gearbox and used the Honda D13B engine which is used on the fourth generation Honda Civic. This car was only on sale in the UK for a very short time between 2000 and 2001. The design, poor handling were contributing factors to the poor sales. The Logo was discontinued in 2001 and was replaced by the Honda Fit.
