Honda Shuttle Overview
The Honda Shuttle is classed as a compact MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Honda. This vehicle is also know as the Honda Odyssey in other markets, but was marketed as the Shuttle in Europe for the first generation (1995-2000) Honda Odyssey. These vehicles are great to drive and very reliable. They were only available in automatic and there was no diesel version. Originally these were very expensive to buy, but the prices were soon reduced to a more reasonable price. They are very well built vehicles and have a walk down aisle down the middle which is great for families. Does this sound like your experience of this vehicle?
Honda Shuttle History
The Honda Shuttle (1995-2000) was originally only available as a 2.2L automatic with 6 seats which restricted sales. Also due to the fact there was no diesel engine and prices were very high, meant that sales remained really low. In 1997 there were huge price cuts as a facelift version was introduced which offered a 7 seater version and a new 2.3L engine followed in 1998. The new improvements meant a better braking system, better automatic gearbox with smoother changing amongst other mechanical changes. This vehicle was discontinued in 2000 and had no direct replacement.

Fuel Economy
The Honda Shuttle was available in 2.2 or 2.3L petrol engines, which offered up to 26mpg. This is not the best mileage around and there are other MPVs on the market which offer better fuel economy. Which
