Nissan Almera Tino Overview

The Nissan Almera Tino is classed as a compact MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Nissan. The Almera Tino was in production from 2000 to 2006 and was based on the popular small family car, the Nissan Almera. These vehicles followed in the footsteps of the likes of the Renault Scenic, by offering MPV versions of the small family car. They can seat up to five easily, being spacious and comfortable little vehicles. They are also good to drive, well equipped and very reliable vehicles. They handle pretty good but are not the best on cornering. They do have good safety features and are very practical. Well worth considering. Nissan Almera Tino History

The Nissan Almera Tino was introduced in 2000 around the same time that the second generation Nissan Almera was launched. The Tino was slightly different in appearance to the Almera small family car, whilst still having many features relating it to this car. This vehicle was built on the MS platform and received a facelift in 2003. These changes mainly affected the exterior styling, interior and some minor mechanical adjustments. The Almera Tino ceased production in 2006 the same time as the Almera was discontinued.
