Volkswagen T25 Overview

The Volkswagen T25 is classed as a light commercial van which was produced by the German automobile manufacturing company Volkswagen. This vehicle was in production from 1979 to 1990. The T25 is part of the type 2 range, and is the third generation of the type 2. It can also be known as the T3 and followed on from the previous T2. These vehicles are seen as very reliable and there are still many of these on the roads, particularly the Campervan versions. You can get these at prices ranging from £1000-10,000 depending on condition. The engines are pretty good, they are spacious and quite comfortable. These vehicles also have the quality Volkswagen build quality. Does this sound anything like your experience of the VW 25?

Volkswagen T25 History

The Volkswagen T25 is part of the historical Type 2 range and is still a popular sight on the roads of the UK. These vehicles were still produced with air cooled engines to begin with, but from 1983 the engines were all made water cooled. Volkswagen decided to stay with the air cooled engines for a long time, but as time went on, they were becoming more and more dated. Finally in 1983 they changed to the larger, water cooled engines which allow for better engine management. In 1986 the T25 received a facelift, which changed the round headlights to square, and gave the bumpers a new design, changing from the chrome ones.
