Audi are set to unveil their latest concept car, the Audi Prologue at the 2014 Los Angeles Motor Show later this week. Some are saying that this could be the concept version of the proposed Audi A9 which would overtake the A8 as Audi's flagship model. The latest concept vehicle is to showcase Audi's new design language which is designed by Mark Lichte who took over as Head of Design at Audi last year. Lichte has recently said that the new design language is to focus on sportiness and emotion. The Prologue concept has taken influence from the 1989 Audi 90 Quattro GTO race car and the original TT and A8 vehicles. It was thought for a while that this concept vehicle would be in the form of a 4-door coupe but some recent sneak preview images which have been circulating the internet, indicate that it could be in the form of a 2-door coupe. We look forward to the official unveiling of this concept vehicle and with even more anticipation to see if this vehicle will eventually become the much anticipated Audi A9. Do you think if this vehicle makes it into production as the Audi A9 that it will be a success and be able to rival the likes of the Mercedes S-Class?
