Fiat introduced the Avventura concept vehicle earlier this year at the 2014 Auto Expo. There has been images of the Avventura production version circulating the internet and this vehicle is set to be released later this year. The new Fiat Avventura model is based on the latest generation Fiat Punto and the Italian automobile manufacturing company have started an online marketing campaign where they are promoting the new vehicle as a cool Urban, fun, free and adventurous vehicle. Unfortunately we do not have access to this video yet but keep your eyes open to get a look at the new production version. The main differences between the production version and the concept vehicle will be the headlights and there will be no daytime running lights, but will come fitted with fog lights. The skid plate was grey on the concept but will be silver on the production version. The engine to be used is the 1.3L multijet diesel which produces 90PS and 209nm torque. This is one of the same engines used on the Punto. The concept version had a 6-speed automatic gearbox but the production version will come fitted with a 5-speed manual. It is set to compete with the likes of the Ford Ecosport and VW Cross Polo. What do you think of the Fiat Avventura concept in the video below?
