The new 2014 Citroen C1 is to be unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show which begins this week. The show is running from the 6-16th March. The Citroen C1 was first released in 2005 and you can read our full C1 review by clicking here. The new C1 is the second generation of this car and is a very cute looking little car which takes on a new front end design which is in the lines of the C4 Picasso front end design. The C1 shares its platform with the Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo as this car is a joint venture between PSA Peugeot Citroen and Toyota. There will be two engine options available: 1.0L 68bhp or the 1.2L 82bhp. The 1.2L offers around 60mpg and CO2 emissions of 99g/km. This same engine can do 0-62mph in around 11 seconds which is not to bad for a small engine like this. These engines are available with either 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic gearboxes. This car has a boot space of 196 litres but can bulk up to 750 litres when you fold down the rear seats. There is a 7” touch screen which controls such things as the phone and radio. The exterior design includes LED daytime running lights, square rear lights and a glass tailgate. I personally like the cute little design but if you disagree let us know about it in our comments box below. Have a look at the video below for the new 2014 Citroen C1:
