The new third generation Audi TT is to be unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. So far there has only been sketches of the vehicle available and the new model is being eagerly anticipated. The 2014 Geneva Motor Show takes place from 6-16th March 2014. The Audi TT has been in production since 1998 and the new third generation version is expected to take most of its styling from the original model, forgetting the styling of the previous second generation version. We have a full TT review which you can view by clicking here. It is expected that the new TT will be built on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform which is shared with the likes of the Audi S3 and VW Golf. The interior design was revealed at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show last month (January 2014). The exterior design will include LED daytime running lights with Audi's new matrix LED technology. The expected engine line up will range from 1.8L to 2.0L turbo engines with a 150bhp diesel engine and the petrol engines beginning with the 190bhp engine. Audi have announced there will be the high performance TTS version which will most likely have the 300bhp 2.0L turbo petrol engine used on the Audi S3. There should be both front wheel drive and Quattro four-wheel drive variants and the TT will have manual and DSG automatic gearboxes available. Have a look at the video below for the MkIII Audi TT which is to be shown a the 2014 Geneva Motor Show:
