What do you think of the new 2014 Nissan Pathfinder? Below we have written a short overview of the latest edition of this classic SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle). We have also written a full review of the Pathfinder which you can view by clicking here. The Pathfinder is an 8-seater SUV which is extremely spacious and has very good off-road capabilities. Like all vehicles of this type, the Pathfinder is expensive to buy, with prices beginning at £32,945. This price is a lot lower than some leading competitors. The Pathfinder is available with either the 2.5 or 3.5L petrol engines. The 2.5L is the cheaper alternative and is better in terms of fuel economy and CO2 emissions. You can either have the 6-speed manual of 5-speed automatic gearboxes. The 2.5L petrol coupled to the 6-speed manual will give you 33.2mpg and 224g/km emissions but with the 5-speed automatic you get 31.4mpg and 238g/km emissions. The Pathfinder may not be the best looking SUV on the market but it makes up for this in terms of performance, both on and off road. It not only offers plenty of space in the passenger area but also has a very good amount of storage space in the rear, with 453 litres, and that is with the rear seats up. It also has excellent safety features which include 6 airbags, 5-star crash test rating, rear parking sensors and a reverse camera. What is your opinion on the new Pathfinder?
