The new 2015 Ford Mustang is set to go on sale in the UK in June next year and in the rest of Europe in the first quarter of 2015. We are all excited to see how well this vehicle is going to do on the European market as the sixth generation Ford Mustang is going to be the first ever Mustang to go on sale in this part of the world. There will be two different engines available: the 2.3L EcoBoost and the 5.0L V8. However, there has already been some criticism from the European Media, particularly the UK Media. They are very critical of the low speed ride quality, which has been questioned in recent test drives. The UK media are saying that the poor comfort at low speeds will not work on the UK roads and Ford have promised to have a look at altering the suspension for the European models. Raj Nair is the Ford Global Engineering chief, and this is what he had to say about the suspension alteration: “As soon as we play with the low speed damping we risk harming the car’s handling. Even so, we’re about to begin testing and there are some things we can do,”. The only problem with messing around with the suspension is that it could have a negative affect on the handling, which is one of the main areas this vehicle has been praised for along with the overall performance. What do you think of the 2015 Ford Mustang? Do you think it will be a success in the UK and do you think softening the suspension will work? Let us know what you think in our comments box below.
