At the recent Royal Automobile Ceremony at Pall Mall, London, Renault scooped three different awards.

The latest version of the Renault Clio won the best small car award which it was currently holding and the Renault Kangoo Van ZE won the Environment award which it first won in 2012. The other award which was won by Renault was for Innovation in the van fleet world honours and it went to the new 1.6L twin turbo engine.

The new Clio took this car into a new realm with its sleek design and economic engines. The new design is wider, lower and has a longer wheelbase than its predecessors and offers an incredible 88.3mpg. You do not need to pay for road tax due to the low emissions.

Steve Moody is the editor of Fleet World Magazine and this is what he said about the Clio winning this award: “the Clio continues to be the best car in the supermini sector because it offers everything a driver of these type of cars wants. That means that it is not too expensive, has cheap to run petrol and diesel engines, enough space in the back and boot, and does it all with a dash of style too.”

The Kangoo Van ZE was released towards the end of 2011 and won the International Van of the year award in 2012.
