Honda SiR Overview
The Honda SiR is one of the top trim levels for a few different Honda vehicles, such as the Civic, Accord, Integra and CRX. We are focusing on the Civic version which was the most popular of these vehicles. These vehicles were produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Honda and the SiR trim was available on the sixth and seventh generations of the Civic. The SiR is based on the hatchback, sedan, coupe or hothatch versions of the Civic and has a really good engine and some stylish looks. The interior trim was top quality and they are very well equipped cars. They are also well refined and handle really well. Does this sound like your experience of this car?
Honda SiR History
The SiR trim was available on the Civic on the fifth, sixth and seventh generations from 1992 to 2005. This trim level is one of the sportier trims on the Civic, and all other Honda's that it is available on. The SiR trim was mainly available in Japan and Canada.
The fifth generation version (1992-95) was the most powerful Civic on the road and had a 1.6L engine.
The sixth generation (1996-2000) was again the most powerful sports version of this car. It had the same excellent handling as the previous version.
The seventh generation (2001-2005) name was also used in Canada and was slightly larger than the previous version.

The Honda SiR was available in 1.5 or 1.6L petrol
