The Mercedes 270 is part of the Mercedes E-class and is classed as an executive car. This car is produced by the German car manufacturing company Mercedes-Benz which is part of the Daimler AG group. These cars are available in both saloon and estate versions. The 270 is only available as a diesel engine, and these are very good performance vehicles. The Mercedes 270 is a classy car, very spacious and well refined, exactly what you would expect from any Mercedes vehicle. They are expensive to buy but you get what you pay for. Mercedes 270 History
The Mercedes 270 E-class was first produced in 1995 and carried on until 2003. These were very popular executive cars and this version of the E-class was a high performance diesel. These vehicles are powered by a 2685cc, 5cylinder engine with 177 bhp with a top speed of 142mph. The E 270 CDI engines are very efficient and don’t lack in power and are very refined. The 270 E was only available up until 2003 when the E-class models moved into the next generation. The 2.7L engine was discontinued.
