Audi A1 Sportback Overview

The Audi A1 Sportback is classed as a supermini car which is produced by the German automobile manufacturing company Audi. The Sportback version of the A1 is the 5-door hatchback version. The standard A1 is a 3-door hatchback. This vehicle is produced at the Audi production plant in Belgium. Audi is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group and has been since 1966. The Sportback version was released in 2011, the year after the A1 was introduced. The A1 Sportback is one of the top of the range cars in the supermini class. It is more practical than the 3-door A1 and has a bit more room in the rear passenger area. The engine is great and have amazing fuel economy. It is great to drive, reliable and have great safety features. The engine is well refined and great build quality associated with any Volkswagen Group vehicle. The Audi A1 Sportback was released in 2011, the year after the 3-door A1 was released. The main difference between the A1 and A1 Sportback is that the Sportback version is a 5-door and is slightly longer, meaning more room for the rear passengers. This is the current version on the market.

The Audi A1 Sportback is available in 1.2, 1.4 or 2.0L petrol and 1.6 or 2.0L diesel engines. The most economical of these engines is the 1.6L petrol which offers around 74mpg.
