Honda Stream Overview
The Honda Stream is classed as a compact MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which is produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Honda. This vehicle has been in production since 2000 and is still in production today in its second generation. These vehicles have really good handling. It handles more like a hatchback car than an MPV. The i-VTEC engines are really good, the vehicle is very reliable and they are great to drive. The performance is good, but they lack practicality and comfort. Honda Stream History
The first generation (2000-06) Honda Stream was introduced in 2000 and it is considered difficult to determine the exact class as it is like an estate and compact MPV at the same time. It is built on the same chassis as the Honda Civic. They look really similar, but with an extended rear end which allows for the third row of seats, making it a 7-seater. In 2004 it had a facelift and the 2.0L engine was made more fuel efficient.
The second generation (2006-present) replaced the 1.7L with the newer 1.8L engine. The 2.0L was seen as the higher spec version.
The second generation is available in FWD or AWD and is the current version of the Stream on the market.
