Nissan GTR Overview

The Nissan GTR is classed as a supercar which is produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Nissan. This vehicle was introduced in 2007 for the Japanese market, 2008 for the North American and 2009 for the rest of the world. This car is based on the previous Nissan Skyline GTR but no longer carries the Skyline name. This car is extremely powerful and has great acceleration. It also handles amazingly well, is very stylish and sticks to the road like glue. These cars are very luxurious, they have great safety features and they are very reliable. The engines may lack refinement, fuel costs may be high, and the Nissan badge not as prestigious as other supercars, but this car certainly packs a punch. Does this sound like your experience of the GTR?

Nissan GTR History

The Nissan GTR was released in the UK in 2009, but was first introduced in 2007 in Japan. This car was based on the previous Skyline GTR, which was the high performance version of the Nissan Skyline. Nissan decided not to carry on the Skyline name but carried over some of the common features of this vehicle, while also bringing in some major changes.

In 2012 the GTR had a facelift which mainly affected the mechanical makeup of the car. The cosmetic changes were a new front bumper design and a new interior design. This is the current version on the market.
