Honda Torneo Overview

The Honda Torneo is classed as a mid-sized family car which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Honda. This vehicle was in production from 1997 to 2002 and is based on the Honda Accord. The Torneo is a sportier version of the sixth generation Accord, with the only differences being the front grille design, the headlights and rear lights, trims and colours available. These cars are very reliable, spacious, comfortable and are not too bad on fuel economy. These are high performance cars which handle really well and are great to drive. They also have really good engines and a good interior design. Does this sound anything like your experience of this car?

Honda Torneo History

The Honda Torneo was introduced in 1997 and was intended originally for the Japanese market only. There are exported versions kicking around in many different countries. The Japanese have a tendency to create better versions for their own market, and this is no exception. The sporty versions of this car are very well equipped and have some really good engines. This car was basically a sportier version of the sixth generation of the Honda Accord. Production of the Torneo ceased in 2002 and was replaced by the seventh generation of the Accord which was sporty enough to discontinue this car.
