Ford S-Max Overview
The Ford S-Max is classed as a large MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which is produced by the European division of the Ford motor Company. This vehicle has been in production since 2006 and is still being produced today. The S-Max is a great choice if you are considering an MPV. They are very comfortable and spacious. They also handle really well, are well refined and very reliable. They are well equipped, have good safety features and are pretty good on running costs. Ford S-Max History
The Ford S-Max was released in 2006, the same time that the new third generation Ford Galaxy was introduced. The S-Max slots in-between the larger galaxy and the smaller C-Max. The year after this vehicle was introduced it won the 2007 European car of the year. This was the first Ford vehicle to use the new ford kinetic design features. It also has Ford's fold flat system which allows the second and third rows to fold flat on the floor, giving extra storage space. The S-Max received a facelift in 2010. The S-Max received a maximum safety score of 5 stars, making it the best in this class.
