A spot light cover driverside is mainly used on vehicles to protect the driverside spot light from debris and stones. They are produced in different sizes for different sized spotlights and can be in the form of a metal cage which covers the spot light, or a carbon fibre mould that sits snugly around the spot light in order to protect it. These covers are easily removed to access the spot light and it’s bulb underneath.
s well as having a protective function, the spot light cover driverside is often used for cosmetic reasons, however, it’s worth considering that using a spot light cover driverside makes it more difficult to clean your driverside spot light effectively if it’s a cage cover.
Damage to a spot light cover driverside can be caused by impact from another vehicle or from your vehicle hitting another object, which could bend or break the spot light cover driverside. If this occurs, then the spot light cover driverside may need to be replaced. Other issues may arise from rust and corrosion of the metal guards which may need to be replaced for cosmetic reasons.
