21. How do I know I can trust the seller I’m ordering from? Well, we thoroughly check out all of our sellers and they have to be BreakerYard.com approved before they can join up. We also keep an eye on them for as long as they are part of our service. All of our sellers also agree to abide by our code of conduct and offer genuine guarantees!

22. Do I have to buy anything if I ask for a quote? Not at all! Just because you’ve asked for a quote doesn’t mean you have to buy anything. |

23. How soon will I start to get quotes once I ask for them? You need to leave a bit of time for the sellers to check their stock so it depends. Quotes could start coming in within 5 minutes or it could take longer. You may not get many quotes over a weekend as the sellers will probably only be able to respond when they get back to work on Monday morning. Normally though all your quotes will be in within 48 hours so you can get choosing.

24. What guarantees do the sellers offer? By law, you have 14 days to get a refund whatever the reason if you bought the part long-distance. You also have a 30 day money-back guarantee if the part doesn’t work properly. But that’s only the minimum! Lots of our sellers offer their own guarantees. It could be 60 days, or depending on the part, 90 days, 120 days, or more. Part of comparing the quotes that they send you is also comparing the guarantees they offer.

25. How many van and car breaker’s yards are linked to BreakerYard.com? The number of van and car breaker’s yards on our network often changes but at the moment we are linked to between 75 and 100 sellers across the UK, all BreakerYard.com approved. Our sellers range from car dismantlers with salvage yards to companies selling new parts (but for great prices).
