Solution:

Problem:
The turbo has unexpectedly failed.
Solution:
The oil pressure switch on the DCi is a common problem. If it isn't sticking, it can also cause a leak that damages your turbo seals, leading to sudden turbo failure. If you're fortunate and spot this issue early, you might only need to replace the switch. In worst-case scenarios, you’ll need to check our parts list for a new turbo assembly.

High Oil Pressure (1.0DCi)
Problem:
The oil pressure gauge is showing a dangerously high reading.
Solution:
Very common on the Laguna 1.9DCi, this issue is caused by a sticking oil pressure switch. Try applying lubricant to the switch, but if that doesn’t work, it has likely become too worn. You will need to order a new switch from BreakerYard and install the spare one.

Knocking From Rear
Problem:
You can hear a knocking noise coming from the rear of the car while driving.
Solution:
Your rear axle bushes are worn out. This is a relatively simple repair, but it can be a bit fiddly. Order both bushes from our parts list and check some online guides if you’ve never carried out this repair before.

Problem:
If you have noticed that the heater is not working on your Laguna, a burnt component is normally the cause of the problem. The heater control panel is usually the part affected.
