Renault 25 Overview
The Renault 25 is classed as an executive car which was produced by the French automobile manufacturing company Renault. This vehicle was in production from 1983 to 1992 and was the top of the range Renault car of the time. It was the largest, most luxurious and expensive car of their range. Although it didn't win the European car of the year, it finished second in 1985. These cars are well refined, comfortable, spacious and very luxurious. Considering they were so cheap to buy compared with other executive cars of the time, they were a real bargain. They handled pretty well but have been known for very costly repair prices. Renault 25 History
The Renault 25 was first produced towards the end of 1983 and made a real improvement on the Renault 20 and 30 which were their previous representatives in the executive class. Renault tried a liftback design to offer something different in this class. Due to the aerodynamic style of design, it was the leading car in this class economically. These cars were better than a lot of the other executive cars in this class in terms of comfort, space and refinement. There was a facelift in 1988 with major changes to all areas including the interior, exterior and mechanics. The new exterior design was to try give the car a smoother look. Production ceased in 1992 as the 25 was replaced by the Renault Safrane.

engines: 2.0, 2.2, 2.5, 2.7 or 2.9L petrol and 2.1L diesel engines. The 2.1L diesel engine is the most economical of these engines, and was pretty good for an engine this size.
