About Interior Lights
The Audiinterior light in a motor vehicle is one of the more useful aids to a driver and passengers. Its operation is simple yet extremely effective, ensuring that whenever one of the doors of the vehicle is opened, the Audiinterior light is activated, enabling the interior of the car and its contents to be clearly visible in even the darkest of conditions.
In most vehicles the Audiinterior light is positioned within the vehicle immediately above the dashboard or around the ceiling. In some larger models of car there is more than one Audiinterior light to ensure that light is shed around the whole of the vehicle’s interior. The Audiinterior light unit connects to the vehicle’s battery independent of the ignition system, enabling it to be engaged at any time that one of the doors is opened.
Some interior lights are capable of being tilted in order to cast light on a specific spot within the vehicle. There are generally three basic controls that are available for the use of a standard Audiinterior light. The usual mode enables the light to switch one when one of the vehicle doors is opened and to switch off (sometimes with a short delay period) when the door is closed. Alternative settings are permanently on and permanently off.
The Audiinterior light serves as a useful aid to drivers and passengers in all vehicles during the hours of darkness.

- The RS3 is lighter than you might think. That's because the five-cylinder engine isn’t made from cast-iron but instead from aluminium. That means it only weighs around 26kg!
- The Olympics Committee tried to sue Audi in 1995, claiming that the four rings logo was too similar to the Olympic rings. Audi easily won.
- In 1971, Audi reached the landmark that all car manufacturers hope to hit sooner rather than later: the production of their millionth car. By 1976, they reached 2 million!
