History of Iveco cars
Iveco is an Italian manufacturer with its UK operation headquartered in Watford. There are production plants in Europe, Russia, Australia, Africa, Argentina and China, where Iveco produces a number of commercial and quarry/construction vehicles. They also manufacture various buses and other special vehicles for firefighting, off-road missions and military defence. It’s current range includes the Daily van range, Eurocargo chassis cab and Stralis rigids and tractor units. Iveco is an acronym for Industrial Vehicle Corporation and initially it was an alliance of several European commercial manufacturers such as Fiat, Unic, Lancia and Magirus. Nowadays they manufacturer trucks, buses and diesel engines. They are based in Turin and they can produce around 200,000 vehicles and 460,000 engines per year.
