About First Aid Kit

The 1 SERIES BMW first aid kit is a valuable item to carry in your car in case of injuries or medical emergencies. It contains all of the essential materials and equipment necessary to administer first aid to any member of your party.

Contained in its own carry case, the 1 SERIES BMW first aid kit contains first aid scissors, various assorted plasters, microporous tape, cleansing wipes, burnshield dressing, revive aid, sterile dressings and examination gloves to name a few. The 1 SERIES BMW first aid kit also has an enclosed guidance leaflet to ensure that the first aid administrator has the best knowledge of how to treat wounds or injuries. The 1 SERIES BMW first aid kit contains enough to help keep your family safe until first aid arrives in an emergency. It is also suitable for basic first aid such as small cuts and burns.

It is recommended that vehicles used during employment, such as delivery vans should contain a first aid kit. This is a legal requirement in taxis and minicabs.

All items in the 1 SERIES BMW first aid kit are CE marked for peace of mind and adhere to the recommended guidance of the British Standards Industry for vehicle first aid equipment.

BMW trivia

  • The Cold War affected BMW sales so significantly that the company was nearly bought out by their arch-rivals Mercedes in 1959. A silent investor saved the company, but the rivalry between BMW and Mercedes Benz is ongoing.
  • The BMW company was founded way back in 1916 and originally manufactured engines for planes. High demand for plane engines during WWI was good news for BMW, but they carried on making plane engines right up until 1945.
  • Electric cars might be all the rage now, but BMW built their first one in 1972 and called it the BMW 1602e. It didn't quite make it to market though, thanks to the fact that it could only hold a twenty-minute charge.
  • One of the reasons older BMWs keep their value is because it's easy to get spare parts for even the oldest models. That's because BMW has carried on making car parts, even for cars that were built in WWII.
  • The main headquarters for BMW in Munich is designed and shaped to look like car parts. There was a whole new 'four-cylinder' building added on in 1973, and there's definitely the look of an engine about the architecture.
